A space for your stories.
These are the functional terms of the ChapterDock preview. The final commercial terms, including seller details, tax treatment, support and applicable rights, must be completed before public payments are enabled.
Trial and subscription
Signing up activates Free: one personal project of up to 10,000 words and 50 MB for texts and versions, for individual use. After your first saved text, you can activate a single 7-day Studio trial without a card. Studio costs €9.99 per month or €99.90 per year; MUSA costs €24.99 per month or €249.90 per year. Studio includes 5 personal projects and 500 MB; MUSA includes 20 projects and 2 GB. Paid plans impose no commercial word limit per project; technical and storage limits still apply. Archived projects count towards the limit. Renewals are managed through the customer portal.
Your writing belongs to you
You retain the rights to the content you add. You are responsible for shared content and the necessary permissions. Collaborators can access only projects they have been invited to.
The AI assistant
Free includes 3 tokens per UTC calendar month; the Studio trial includes 15 in total. Studio and MUSA respectively include 20 and 100 tokens, renewed monthly on the service anniversary even with annual billing. An edit request for a passage costs 1 token; a message to MUSA costs 1. For editorial analyses, an estimate based on the text to process is shown for confirmation before starting. Analyses require Studio (up to 30,000 words) or MUSA (up to 100,000 words) per analysis. A correction request costs one token, regardless of the number of suggested changes. A failed generation refunds reserved tokens. Tokens belong to the project owner and are shared with collaborators. Included tokens do not roll over. AI can make mistakes: suggestions require review and approval.
MUSA also includes memory for 3 works, up to 300,000 words in total, with 600,000 words of updates per period, including the initial reading. These updates do not consume tokens and are available with an active MUSA plan.
MUSA top-ups
Extra packs include 20 tokens for €4.99, 75 for €14.99 or 200 for €34.99. They are one-off purchases with no automatic renewal, available on every plan when payments are active. The balance is credited after payment confirmation. Included tokens are used first; purchased tokens do not expire and remain available after switching to Free. A top-up does not change your plan or enable analysis or persistent memory on plans that do not include them. Payment refunds reverse the corresponding tokens; if already used, the balance to settle is shown in your account.
Collaboration and saving
An internal limit on attempt costs may temporarily suspend AI after repeated errors or unusual usage, without blocking writing or export. The message indicates the suspension and period renewal. Available quotas do not guarantee the narrative accuracy of responses.
Free is for personal use. Studio includes 2 co-authors and 3 readers, MUSA 5 co-authors and 10 readers per project, with no subscription required for invitees. Edits synchronise when saved; simultaneous editing of the same scene may require resolving a conflict. We recommend exporting a copy of your texts regularly.
After the trial
When your trial or subscription ends, you return to Free. Choose one project to edit at no cost; others remain available to read and export. Invitees above the quota retain read access. If the project already exceeds 10,000 words, you can revise it without increasing its length, shorten it or export it; Studio is required to keep growing it. Switching from MUSA to Studio preserves existing projects and access but prevents new additions above the quota. Daily copies and checkpoints are kept for 7 days on Free, 90 on Studio and 365 on MUSA; Studio allows 20 manual checkpoints per scene and MUSA 100. A downgrade may delete versions beyond the new retention period. Previously processed MUSA memory is retained; retrieval and updates become available again with the MUSA plan. Pausing memory while keeping MUSA active still allows retrieval and export. Updates require available quotas.
